Certificate of Completion
A record earned through study
Complete six learning sections, pass the full 21-question assessment, review missed answers, and personally attest to your work.
Private, printable, and tied to the recorded score and timestamps. Not accreditation or NMLS continuing education credit.
A rigorous, transparent path
From first lesson to permanent record
Step 1
Create a professional profile
Register with your work email, company and job role. An NMLS number is optional, so unlicensed staff can take the course too.
Step 2
Complete the training and quiz
Read short learning cards, practice with instant explanations, then take the recorded assessment of all 21 questions.
Step 3
Save your completion record
Your score, timestamps and attempts are stored in your account. Passing learners can issue a Certificate of Completion.
Our mission
"The knowledge that keeps an industry honest should belong to everyone in it."
Mortgage AML Training is the mortgage profession's open source: free, rigorous anti-money laundering education for every professional in the industry—licensed or not—along with a permanent, verifiable record of the work. No paywall, no gate, no fine print. This is a service built out of love for the industry and the people who make it work.
Built for the whole mortgage profession
Processors, underwriters, intake staff, operations, compliance teams, and sales can all register. A company workspace keeps training records together for owners and compliance staff, and joining an existing workspace is by invitation only.
- Answers are graded on the server against a fixed answer key
- Every completed attempt is kept with its actual timestamps
- Retakes are free and recorded as separate attempts
Education in service of the industry
Like open-source knowledge in technology, this course is meant to make useful professional education broadly available—without a payment gate.
Documents completion of this awareness course. Not NMLS continuing education credit or a certification of regulatory compliance. Employers remain responsible for their AML programs and role-specific training.
Professional education should be accessible
Registration takes about a minute. There is no payment step and no credit card.
