How it works
From registration to a saved completion record
The whole course runs in your browser and is stored in your account. There is no payment step, no trial countdown and no sales form.
1. Create a professional profile
You register with your full professional name, work email, company name and job role. An individual NMLS ID is optional and self-reported. We do not ask for NMLS login credentials, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, identity documents or any borrower information.
2. Read the learning sections
Short learning cards cover the meaning of AML and the BSA, the three stages of money laundering, mortgage warning signs and source of funds, risk-based controls and responsibility, and the differences between SARs, CTRs and customer identification. A separate Regulatory context section adds clarifications from published sources.
3. Practice
Practice mode shows every question in the original order with immediate feedback and explanations. Practice does not issue a completion certificate and does not count as your recorded assessment.
4. Take the recorded assessment
All 21 questions in the original order, one at a time. Answers save as you go, so you can leave and resume. No answers are revealed while an attempt is open. You confirm before submitting.
5. Review and attest
After grading you see every question with your answer, the supplied answer key, explanations and content notes. Before a certificate is issued you confirm that you completed the training yourself and reviewed the explanations for the questions you missed.
6. Keep the record
Each attempt is stored with its actual timestamps and score. Passing learners can view and print a Certificate of Completion. Retakes are free and are recorded as new attempts, never as an overwrite.
Scoring
The platform default passing threshold is 80 percent, which means at least 17 of 21 items correct. That threshold is a product and company policy setting, not a legal requirement. Grading happens on the server against a fixed answer key for course version AML-2026.1.
Documents completion of this awareness course. Not NMLS continuing education credit or a certification of regulatory compliance. Employers remain responsible for their AML programs and role-specific training.
